Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2026: Home and Outdoor Picks Worth Watching

Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon usually runs a longer Black Friday Week event around those days, but as of October 31 it hasn't announced the exact start and end dates, so sales may show up earlier than the day itself.

This isn't a list of doorbusters. It's a short watch list: gear we already recommend in our guides, the kind of home, kitchen and outdoor gifts that often show up in holiday sales. We don't list prices or guess at discounts, because they change by the hour and not every item goes on sale. Use this list to decide what you actually want, then check today's price on Amazon.

How to shop the sales without the stress

A deal on something you won't use isn't a deal. A few habits keep Black Friday calm:

1. Make the list first. Write down who you're shopping for and what they'd actually use. Our gift guides are a good place to start.
2. Save items ahead of time. Add the things you're considering to an Amazon list now, so checking them during the sales takes two minutes. Amazon also offers deal alerts and price tracking through its Alexa shopping features.
3. Compare against recent prices, not the "list price". A crossed-out list price isn't the same as a real drop. A price-history tracker shows what an item has actually sold for lately.
4. Check the exact model and the seller. Sale listings sometimes swap in a different size, color, bundle or older version. Look at the model number and "Ships from" and "Sold by" lines.
5. Know the return window. Amazon usually extends returns on holiday purchases. Check the return-by date on your order before you wrap anything.
6. Don't gamble on a deadline. If a gift has to arrive by a certain day, buying when the price is fine beats waiting for a better one that might ship late.
