Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
This privacy policy explains what information Basecamp & Backyard ("we," "us") collects when you visit basecampandbackyard.com and how it's used. The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell anything, and the main third party involved is Amazon when you click an affiliate link.
Information we collect
Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you.
Basic site analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across sites. It helps us see which pages are popular in aggregate (for example, page views and referring sites).
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the site.
Newsletter. We don't currently run a newsletter. If we add one, we'll update this policy to describe the provider and what's collected, and you'll be able to unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies and affiliate links
This site itself doesn't set advertising cookies. However, when you click a link to Amazon, Amazon may set cookies on your browser to track that you came from our site so we can earn a commission on qualifying purchases. Amazon's use of that information is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice.
If you use a "Save" (Pinterest) button on our images, you'll be taken to Pinterest, and Pinterest's privacy policy applies to what happens there.
